Douglas Elliman Scott Associates announced the addition of four brokers to its staff, including Sarah L. Cagninelli, Lynn Julian, Patricia Redican, and Sharon Rodda. Cagninelli joined Douglas Elliman Scott Associates from Prudential Wheeler Real Estate, and Redican and Rodda joined from William Pitt Real Estate. Julian came from the Douglas Elliman office in Greenwich, Conn.

Cagninelli, a resident of Darien for more than 20 years, has been a broker for five years, after a previous career in banking. She is a certified home finding specialist and home marketing specialist. She was awarded the Prudential Leading Edge Award for her success in transactions. Cagninelli has a B.A. from Hamilton College and an M.A. from Middlebury College.

Julian, before becoming a licensed realtor, was co-founder of Alexander Julian, Inc., in New York City, and then was an architectural designer with Roger Bartels Architects in New York. A resident of Rowayton for eight years, she has a B.A. from Barnard College and an M.A. from the University of North Carolina.

During her eight-year career with William Pitt Real Estate, Redican became an award-winning, multi-million dollar producer.

Rodda was with William Pitt Real Estate for five years. A resident of Darien, she also has been very active in community affairs. She has been on the board of the Darien community council and the Tokeneke and Hindley school parent associations. She also has been president of the YWCA board. Rodda is a graduate of Marymount College and of New England College in Henniker, N.H.

Matthew Barnett has joined the project management team of Levien & Co., announced president Kenneth Levien.

Barnett has served the construction industry for more than twenty years. Most recently he was a freelance consultant and owner representative working on projects throughout the U.S., participating in all phases of preconstruction planning, including cost control, creation of budgets, and selection of vendors.

Prior to 1995 Barnett created BC Consulting, Inc., built more than 70 residences and two strip malls, and was involved in the construction of numerous office buildings, hotels and retail facilities.

Insignia/ESG Inc. announced the appointment of Richard S. Levy as senior managing director of the firm's downtown brokerage team. Levy previously served as senior vice president of Tishman Real Estate Services Co.

Daniel Gale Real Estate has announced the appointment of Marie Montchal as its Home-Link director. The newly-created position is the result of the agency's new role as Long Island's exclusive Home-Link broker. Montchal will be responsible for developing and managing this service, which provides personal customer assistance to simplify the process of buying, selling, and owning a home.

Montchal, of St. James, joined Daniel Gale in 1998 as vice president of relocation and corporate marketing. She will continue to serve in that position while serving as Home-Link director.

Integrity Office Solutions announced the appointment of Mai Sharif Shiver to vice president of business development and general counsel in the company's San Francisco offices. Shiver assumed a variety of responsibilities, encompassing the areas of new business and legal issues for IOS.

With the addition of Shiver to its management staff, IOS acquired a professional with both practical management expertise and legal/analytical skills. Shiver joins IOS after serving for two years as corporate counsel for the Chicago-based Randolph Equities, a startup investment company. While there, Shiver generated substantial new business for the firm and provided legal expertise in establishing a commercial real property acquisitions division.

After graduating from the University of California in Hastings, with a J.D., Shiver was hired by the Oakland, CA based firm Burnham & Brown as an attorney in real estate, regulatory, and compliance law.

Larry Mango has joined Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc. in East Rutherford as a senior associate of research services. The department profiles New Jersey's office and industrial real estate conditions, and provides a variety of consulting services for the firm's clients, including market and feasibility studies.

In his new position, Mango, of Rutherford, N.J., manages research operations in Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey's East Rutherford, Parsippany and Iselin offices. He has been involved with real estate analysis and marketing for six years, most recently serving as senior marketing manager for the New York City Economic Development Corporation.

Mango also previously worked as assistant director with the Village Alliance Business Improvement District, a Manhattan non-profit organization that works to enhance the Greenwich Village business community. He earned a master's degree in urban planning from New York University and received a bachelor's degree in marketing from the New York University Stern School of Business.

UrbanAmerica L.P. announced recently that David G. Monzella has been named vice president of acquisitions.
