Rowland has more than 20 years of mortgage sales experience. Prior to joining Prism Mortgage, he served as the managing director of sales and marketing at Pedestal Inc.

Rowland holds a B.A. in education from the State University of New York, an M.A. in spanish from the University of Buffalo, and an M.B.A. in marketing from the University of Houston.

Ted Moudis Associates announced that Christine Hluska has joined the firm as design manager. In her new position, Hluska will manage the firm's design group and will oversee the design process for all of its projects.

Hluska is an accomplished designer, with 20 years of experience in architectural interiors. Prior to joining Ted Moudis Associates, she served as group director and senior associate in the interior architecture department of HLW.

Hluska holds a B.A. in fine arts from Arcadia University. She has been a guest speaker at the New York School of Interior Design and an adjunct faculty member at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

The American Jewish Committee announced that Charles B. Benenson, chairman of the Benenson Capital Company, has received its National Human Relations Award.

Benenson is the founding member of the Realty Foundation and has helped to organize Lincoln Center's real estate and construction council He is also a founder of the Association for a Better New York and a member of the board of directors of the Loews Corporation.

Benenson has been a major patron of the American Jewish Committee's humanitarian efforts. He is also active in numerous charitable organizations, including the Inner Cities Scholarship Fund and the United Cerebral Palsy.

Ernst & Young announced that Thomas W. Bogie has joined its real estate advisory services division.

Bogie has 15 years of experience in strategic and tactical real estate consulting and advisory services. His areas of expertise include corporate real estate expense reduction, threat assessment, and strategic portfolio assessment.

Bogie holds a B.A. in English from the University of Florida. He is an adjunct professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Real Estate Development and a member of the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives and the Building Owners and Managers Association.

Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation announced that Robert Hebron, a principal of Ingram & Hebron Realty, has been elected to its board of directors.

As principal of Ingram & Hebron Realty, Hebron has been involved in marketing and leasing efforts for such Downtown Brooklyn properties as 205 Montague St., 175 Remsen St., and 180 Livingston St. Prior to joining Ingram & Hebron, he was a princiapl of RFH & Associates Consulting Co.

Hebron holds a B.A. from Queens College and an M.B.A. from New York University School of Business.

Robert K. Futterman & Associates announced the appointment of Jerry Rockoff as a director. Rockoff will be responsible for tenant representation in the firm's New Jersey group.

Prior to joining RKF, Rockoff was a broker at Garrick-Aug Associates, where he represented numerous tenants and landlords in leasing transactions.
