Mack-Cali walks for hospital

Mack-Cali Realty Corporation was the sponsor of the 2000 Mack-Cali/ White Plains 5K Race and 1-Mile-Fun Walk, held in downtown White Plains on October 8. Approximately 150 walkers and runners between the ages of 7 and 80 participated in this third running of the event.
Mack-Call partnered with the White Plains Parks and Recreation Department and the Westchester Road Runners Club to produce a well-coordinated professional, and fun event.
The White Plains 5K is part of a celebration of downtown White Plains and a recreation initiative encouraged by the city. Proceeds from the race will be donated to the White Plains Hospital Center.
White Plains Mayor Joseph Delfino, Mack-Cali Realty Corporation executive vice president Michael Grossman, and White Plains Hospital Center vice president for development Cliff Wasser, were at the start and finish lines and presented awards to the winners in each class.
Jason Bushnell of Mamaroneck, N.Y. was the overall race winner and male winner with a 17:20 time. The overall female winner was Terri Sonenclar, also of Mamaroneck, with a time of 21:31.
