Real Estate Weekly, Dec 26, 2001
Rockrose Development Corp. has relocated its headquarters from 309 E. 45th St. in New York City to 290 Park Ave. South. The real estate developer has taken 34,000 SF (the entire 14th and 15th floors and most of the 10th floor of the building) for its new office space. Rockrose has also undertaken a major capital improvement program at its new location, including the upgrading of common areas, entrances, elevators, restrooms, and security systems.
"We decided to relocate our headquarters to 290 Park Ave. South because the building's flexible layout and floor configurations provide more room for our ongoing expansion," said H. Henry Elghanayan, chief executive officer of Rockrose Development Corp. "We're very excited about our new location, the capital improvements we are making at the building, and the continued success of our business."
Rockrose purchased 290/300 Park Ave. South in October 1999 and has released more than 120,000 SF in several long-term transactions, including leases with the Interpublic Group of Companies, Wilhelmia Models, and Grey Advertising.
