Hess displays energy units
Real Estate Weekly, Dec 26, 2001
A large turnout garnered at me New Yorker Hotel Nov. 28 to learn about Hess Microgen Cogen units and to see, firsthand, the units in operation.
Present at the event were David Wilkie, president of Hess Microgen, his team of engineers, as well as the Energy Marketing team of the NYC region. Some of the guests fortunate to see The New Yorker Hotel units in operation were Arco Management, Gumley Haft, Mount Sinai Hospital, and the Starwood Hotels.
The Hess Microgen division of Amerada Hess provides reliable and economical energy to apartment buildings, industrial plants, and hotels. Hess Microgen units can produce electricity and thermal energy at lower rates than a utility, while providing greater efficiency. This is accomplished by utilizing reliable fuel-efficient engines which are environmentally friendly.
"This was truly an exciting day to be able to demonstrate to our customers the benefits of Hess Microgen, especially in these economically trying times. We were very encouraged by the turn out and look forward to growing the Hess Microgen division in the NY Metro marketplace," says Mark Taddeo, general manager of NYC Metro Region.
