StarMedia leases Downtown HQ

The Wall Street law firm Carter, Ledyard & Milburn represented Trinity Real Estate in one of the largest Internet-related real estate transactions to date.
Barbara Brown, an attorney at Carter, Ledyard, negotiated a 210,072 square-foot lease to StarMedia, Inc. at One Hudson Square, a property owned by Trinity Church. StarMedia Network, Inc., a leading Internet media company targeting Latin America and other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets worldwide, has the option of expanding its premises to approximately 350,000 square feet.
With anticipated rentals in excess of $150 million, this transaction is the largest lease to date in Trinity Real Estate's portfolio.
