Cohen and Company Inc., Real Estate announced that it has completed the following retail and office space renewals at Nostrand Avenue between Avenues Y & Z in the Sheepshead Bay area of Brooklyn:
Rebecca Metzger, director of Leasing for CCIRE, renewed Councilman Michael Nelson's lease through December 2009 allowing them to continue occupying the 800 s/f, ground floor office at 3810-A Nostrand Ave. The asking rent was $44 psf with NNN of $4 psf.
Additionally, Sensitive Nails and State Farm Insurance have both exercised their five year options, which are at increased rents. Sensitive Nails will continue occupying their location at 3812 Nostrand Ave. through December 2013 while State Farm Insurance will continue occupying their suite in the office building known as 3858 Nostrand Ave. through May 2013.
