Robert A.M. Stern Delivered A Standing-Room-Only Presentation On Related's The Chatham

It was standing-room-only at the "Designing The Chatham" Symposium, organized by The Sunshine Group on behalf of The Related Companies. Over 100 real estate brokers were held in rapt attention by world-renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern's presentation on the new super-luxury condominium building which will rise on the former Sign of the Dove site at 181 East 65th Street.
For the audience, it was a taste of school days gone by as Stern, the new Dean of the prestigious Yale School of Architecture, described the philosophy behind the design, using slides and a pointer to highlight the special features of The Chatham. "We have tried to think through the space as it relates to the real people who are actually going to live at The Chatham," said Mr. Stern. "This tower captures the qualities of the great old Park Avenue buildings."
Stephen M. Ross, Chairman and CEO. The Related Companies, shared his excitement: "As a developer, It will be the most elegant building in the City of New York."
The symposium was held 279 Central Park West, also a Related super-luxury condominium project. Attendees dines on stuffd loin of veal, seared red snapper, gratin of fall root vegetables, wild mushroom risotto, champagne and dessert a series of candle lit rooms overlooking Central Park.
Louise Sunshine, president of The Sunshine Group, exclusive marketing and sales agent for The Chatham, said: "This level of detail in design surpasses that of all other residential towers."
