Observer, MLX.com announce listings pact

The New York Observer announced that it has paired up with MLX.com, New York City's online residential real estate marketplace, to power its online real estate section and provide additional real estate listings and content for Observer.com.
The co-branded residential real estate site will be linked to The New York Observer home page. Through the co-branded real estate site, users, can search all New York Observer print classifieds as well as create and update an online profile and do customized searches of over 4,500 apartments through MLX.com's database.
Consumers also receive instant email notifications whenever a new apartment enters the market that meets their profile.
