Thornton-Tomasetti Group announced that Aamer Islam has been appointed as vice president of the firm.
Islam specializes in high-rise design. His work includes such projects as the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur and the Random House world headquarters in New York City.
Islam holds a B.S. in engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology in Pakistan and an M.S. in engineering from Cornell University.
