a la mode to provide technology education
Real Estate Weekly, Jan 22, 2003
a la mode, inc., the nation's largest provider of real estate appraisal software and related technology services and the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers (NAIFA) announced their partnership to provide technology education to real estate appraisers.
Technology is continuing to be a driving force behind the appraisal industry. Traditional appraisal classes focus on theory, technique and analysis. These course offerings cover new ways in which appraisers report their findings, communicate with clients and automate their appraisal practice. "Year after year, surveys from thousands of appraisers who have attended our courses estimate close to an hour of time savings per day using what they learned in our courses." says Matt Krodel, director of training and documentation at a la mode, inc.
The seminars include topics such as "USPAP Compliant Electronic Report Archiving" and "Handheld PC Technology" as well as a full-day "Formfilling Essentials" class. The first sessions are slated for February 2003 in Las Vegas, N.V. with cities across the U.S. following throughout the year.
More information about these technology courses is available at www.alamode.com and at www.naifa.com.
