Crew/Ny Sponsors Mentor Program

Real Estate Weekly, Jan 26, 2000

Veronica W. Hackett, principal of The Clarett Group, greets one of 40 graduate students participating in CREW/NY's Mentorship Program. The program, unique in the industry, provides young women interested in pursuing a career in the real estate industry the opportunity to network with members of the organization and benefit from their many years of experience in the field.

CREW/NY currently has affiliations with The New York University Real Estate Institute, New York University Stern School of Business and The Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture and Real Estate Development Program. Each award recipient is assigned to a CREW/NY member-volunteer, who becomes their "mentor" for the year. Mentees are invited to attend all membership-sponsored events that are held during the year. "We extend our gratitude to CREW for making this an informative and worthwhile effort," said Diana Allegretti of Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture and Real Estate Development Program.
