GHP closes flury of Class A leases in Rochelle Park

White Plains based GHP Office Realty, LLC has inked over 55,000 s/f of new leases and renewals at 218 Route 17 North, Rochelle Park, N.J., a 95,000 s/f, class A building.

Watson Wyatt & Company, a world wide consulting firm, signed a long-term renewal and expansion for over 21,000 s/f. Watson Wyatt & Company's global services include developing strategies related to attraction, retention and reward of employees, advising pension plan sponsors and other institutions on optimal investment strategies. A continuing long term tenant at the building, Watson Wyatt was represented by Michael Christian of Equis Corporation. The owner was represented by GHP Office Realty.

Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, LLP, the New Jersey based law firm of former New Jersey Governor, Jim Florio, also renewed and expanded into over 5,600 s/f. The regional law firm's specializes in banking and commercial lending as well as construction and public contracting. The tenant was represented in house by Paul Sangillo, Esq. and Jamie Schwartz represented the owner in the transaction.

Additional transactions include Servicio UniTeller, Inc. signing a 6-year, over $2,000,000 renewal. Servicio UniTeller is a worldwide money transmitter corporation that instantly sends money to thousands of locations, including remote, rural areas not serviced by other money transmitter companies. Servicio UniTeller was represented by Mark D. Siegler of Colliers Houston & Co. The owner was represented by GHP Office Realty.

New deals include leases with Divagno International Cardiology, Inc. for 5,200 s/f. The tenant was represented by William Hassan of CBRE. Omni Eye Services for 6,000 s/f. Omni was represented by Michael Staskiewicz of the Schultz Organization. Phoenix Healthcare, Inc. leased 2,300 s/f. Phoenix was represented by Frank Recine and Blake Goodman of Newmark Knight and Frank. Jamie Schwartz, executive vice president of GHP, represented the owner in the above transactions.
