Global Retail Trends to be focus of Retail Marketing Society's luncheon

"Global Retail Trends" is the topic for the Thursday, February 10th luncheon meeting of the Retail Marketing Society. Kathryn Gramling, principal consultant of PricewaterhouseCoopers, will discuss three major trends that are spurring worldwide innovation in retailing: globalization, consolidation and the need to modernize technologies.
Snapshots of how these trends are playing out across Latin America, Europe, and Asia will be included.
Gramling is a member of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Retail Intelligence Systems team, working with both retail and consumer packaged goods manufacturers in the areas of global business strategy and e-retailing. She has written three books on consumer-focused selling and marketing strategies and has recently finished a series or reports on retailing trends in Southern Europe for the RIS program.
The luncheon meeting will begin at 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 10th at The Williams Club at 24 West 39th Street in Manhattan. The cost is $65 for guests, $45 for Retail Marketing Society members.
