Weichert Commercial Realtors

Real Estate Weekly, Feb 2, 2000

Ronald M. Mahr, SIOR, president of Weichert Commercial Realtors reports the sale of an 88,000 square-foot warehouse in Port Reading, NJ to Abaline Paper Company. The sale price of the building was not disclosed.

Abaline Paper, an importer and distributor of paper products to hospitals and institutions, was formerly located in a 40,000 square-foot building in Brooklyn, NY. The company required a larger facility for its expanding operation and decided to relocate to New Jersey to find better value in real estate. Working with the Weichert Commercial team of Martin Kreiman, Charles Fern and Joel Lubin, Abaline Paper searched properties close to NYC and major thoroughfares and purchased the former Lolly Togs facility in Port Reading.

The building features 20-foot ceilings and multiple loading docks. It is ideally situated near the New Jersey Turnpike and the Goethals Bridge provides easy access to product distribution. Its location and sales price made it a good choice for the company.
