Lansco Corporation

Real Estate Weekly, Feb 2, 2000

Lansco Corporation has been appointed by the owner of the retail condominium at 25 Hudson Street in Manhattan to market its currently vacant space on the ground and lower floors of the building, which is located on the southwest corner of Duane Street in Tribeca. The leasing opportunity consists of 7,564 square feet of retail space on the ground floor of the property and an additional 6,415 square feet on the lower level.

"Located below a luxury residential high-rise with a new storefront facade featuring full height windows, this retail space is ideally suited for an upscale restaurant or high-end retail store," said Robin Abrams, executive vice president at Lansco, who is handling the marketing of the space on behalf of Michael Salzhauer, a partner in the property's ownership.

"The space was recently retrofitted with new exhaust HVAC and other structural and mechanical improvements, making it a highly efficient space for any retail use," said Abrams. "We have already received substantial interest from several prominent retailers who want to create a presence in this trendy Downtown neighborhood and we are considering dividing the space for multi-tenant use."

Asking rents for the retail space are $75 per square foot on the ground floor and $30 per square foot on the lower level.
