Schenkman/Kushner Affiliates

Real Estate Weekly, Feb 2, 2000

Schenkman/Kushner (S/K) Affiliates, one of the leading office, industrial and residential real estate developers in New Jersey, recently inked agreements with a number of prominent corporations for new leases at 285 Davidson Avenue in Franklin Township, New Jersey, announced Louis Sicola, Schenkman/Kushner partner.

Dynamic Mobil Data and Metamor Information Technology Services, respectively, signed long-term leases for space at 285 Davidson, a 127,000 square-foot, five-story office building. The property, offering a prime corporate location and ample parking, features all of amenities needed for a modern office setting.

Colliers Houston & Co. and Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenants in the transactions.

In addition, Elity Systems signed a long-term lease for space in the building. Trammel Crow handled the transaction on behalf of the tenant.

"The Franklin Township property is an exceptional piece in the Schenkman/ Kushner portfolio," Sicola said. "There is still available space, but it looks to go very fast because of the building's outstanding Somerset County location."

Sicola pointed out that corporate giants such as AT&T, Merrill Lynch, Lucent Technologies and Hoechst Marion Roussel call this area home. "The region is called 'The Blue Chip County' by real estate experts because it offers residential and business environments that are among the most highly-prized in the state of New Jersey and the Northeast," he continued. "Moreover, Somerset County provides an extensive transportation system with five interstate highways and is situated centrally between New York and Philadelphia. The county features a beautifully rich and diverse countryside."
