Credit Suisse First Boston Gajjar to address B'nai B'rith Feb. 12

Anand N. Gajjar, managing director, Credit Suisse First Boston, will speak at the B'nai B'rith Real Estate Unit luncheon on Feb. 12, noon at the Cornell Club, 6 East 44"' St. His topic is, "Accessing Real Estate Capital in New York and Around the Country."

"Here is an opportunity to view the current real estate capital markets with a leading national expert" said Sam J. Jemal, co-chair of the B'nai B'rith Real Estate Unit. "Mr. Gajjar is sure to provide useful information and keen insight into how developers and investors can obtain real estate financing today."

Gajjar is based in New York where he heads Structured Finance in the Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group of Credit Suisse First Boston. In this role, he is involved in all non-trading CMBS business with responsibilities in client, CMBS transaction management and conduit transaction execution. As part of this role Gajjar has primary responsibility for the credit approval of all loans originated by the group.

Gajjar joined CSFB in November 2000 when the firm merged with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He had been a managing director in DLJ's real estate finance group since 1996. Earlier Gajjar was a senior director at Fitch Investors Rating Service with responsibility for the CMBS ratings criteria and involvement in the ratings of CMBS transactions. Gajjar spent three years as a real estate consultant with Kenneth Leventhal. He has also been a real estate owner and has experience in development and renovation of retail, office and residential projects. Gajjar received a B.Sc. in civil engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an M.B.A. from New York University's Stem School of Business.
