DMR Architects staff help firm maintain LEED leadership position

DMR Architects announced that four additional staff members have become LEED accredited, which brings the firm's total to six LEED accreditations.

Justin Rueckel, Ricardo Bermudez, AIA, Sara MacDonald, AIA and Beyong Eon Park have all recently become LEED[TM] Accredited.

"We are proud to make this announcement," stated Lloyd Rosenberg, president and CEO of DMR Architects.

"Our firm is committed to leadership, and we feel strongly about keeping the staff educated and informed in our constantly changing field. This knowledge is not only a valuable asset to our clients, but to the environment as well."

As a project designer, Justin Rueckel works closely with the design and interiors teams to assist in maintaining consistency and quality of design. He is responsible for taking the conceptual design through design development. Through LEED. he is able to incorporate high quality recyclable materials and products throughout the interior design of the facilities. Justin received his Bachelor of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Ricardo is a senior architectural designer with a wide range of expertise who is able to think outside the box when it comes to design solutions.

He is the recipient of several design theory and technique awards and a design competition winner. Ricardo previously taught at the University of Maryland's School of Architecture and is a visiting critic at Syracuse University and VPI University.

He earned both his Masters of Architecture and his Bachelor of Architecture at Syracuse University and also attended the School of Architecture at the New York Institute of Technology.

Sara MacDonald, project architect, is dedicated to working on design development and construction documents for private sector projects. Sara received her Master of Architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture and her Bachelor of the Arts in Urban Design Studies at New York University.

Beyong Eon Park works in the Design Department working closely with project designers to incorporate design details for various project types.

He received his Master of Architecture from Texas A&M University, and he received his Bachelor of Architecture from Dong-A University in South Korea.
