GVA Williams marks growth in 2001

In 2001, GVA Williams recorded an extraordinary year of growth. In the beginning of the year, GVA Williams embarked on a significant re-investment program in the company's infrastructure by developing an expanded business platform to include leasing, investment sales, ownership services, property management, construction management, asset management and advisory services. Jeffrey M. Schotz and Adam S. Bacall were hired to develop these business lines and manage the company's growth. Jeffrey M. Schotz, formerly senior vice president and managing director of Reckson Associates, joined GVA Williams in 2001 as executive managing officer of Ownership Services. Adam S. Bacall, formerly sales manager for GVA Williams in New York for the past five years, was brought in as chief operating officer.
In total, GVA Williams completed transactions in 2001 representing over 3.7 million SF of space with an aggregate transaction value of $325 million.
