Hot winter numbers at 10 West End Ave

Real Estate Weekly, Feb 28, 2007

Unseasonably warm temperatures have characterized much of the winter season, and unseasonably hot sales activity has been going on at 10 West End Avenue.

Sales doubled during November and December at the soaring new 33-story glass-clad tower with the sale of 20 residences totaling more than $25M completed between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and the pace has remained strong through the first month of 2007.

The 173 residences, developed by Apollo Real Estate Advisors and Cambridge Development and Construction, are drawing buyers from across the city and around the world with incredible views, generous space, meaningful amenities and real value.

"This has been an extraordinary season at 10 West End Avenue and sales have showed no signs of slowing," says Kelly Kennedy Mack, president, Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. "The New York City market remains strong and this building offers buyers the opportunity to enjoy the best of everything in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the city."

Functional layouts, floor-to-ceiling windows and amenities that include onsite valet parking, a children's activity center designed by the Children's Museum of Manhattan and a fitness center designed by celebrity trainer Ari Weller are attracting buyers at an accelerating pace.

The developers of 10 West End Avenue also took the highly unusual step of creating an exact offsite model--located in the Time Warner Center--which provides buyers with a tangible sense of the quality of these new residences.

The one- to four-bedroom residences range from approximately 750 to 2,600 s/f and from approximately $806,000 to $5.7 million.

The exclusive marketing and sales agent is The Sunshine Group, Ltd. Occupancy is anticipated for Spring 2007.
