Union Bank expands at Spring Valley Business Center

Union State Bank announced an expansion of its services at its Spring Valley Business Resource Center.
The Center has been a valuable addition to the local business community, providing free technical assistance to small business owners and budding entrepreneurs. The Center offers seminars, education programs, and access to computer hardware and software.
The Center, which is located at 4 North Main St. in Downtown Spring Valley, is home to the newly established Rockland county chapter of Counselors to America's Small Business. SCORE volunteers will use the office two days a week to meet new clients. Union State Bank is also providing SCORE with access to the Business Resource Center's conference room for counselor training and monthly meetings.
"We are very pleased to announce this expansion of services to the local business community in Spring Valley. The addition of Rockland county SCORE enable us to offer even more services to small business owners and entrepreneurs, and to help promote the economic vitality of Spring Valley's business district," said Ale Frederico, director of community development for Union State Bank and a member of SCORE Rockland county chapter board of directors.

The office space in Spring Valley will enable us to expand our programs for small business owners throughout Rockland," said Martin Kahn, cochairman of SCORE"s Rockland county chapter.
