New education software released for mortgage pros

Advanced Education Systems, a state-approved continuing education provider for licensing and professional education needs, has recently launched its eLearning platform, TrainingPro (www.TrainingPro.com) to offer an alternative method for mortgage professionals to obtain required continuing education certification.

Sixteen states now require continuing education for mortgage professionals and a bill has been proposed before Congress to require the adoption of national standards for the pre-licensing and continuing education of all mortgage lenders and brokers. According to Chris Nickerson, National Marketing Director for Advanced Education Systems, TrainingPro will help ease the transition into new education requirements.

TrainingPro allows students to view and study course material from any location, complete the test, and print the certificate from their computers. The site also offers a Compliance Manager that can track employee status on current and past courses and access Completion Certificates to ensure total compliance with state professional education requirements.

According to Nickerson, the expansion to on-line services stemmed from feedback from clients. "Some of our clients prefer live classroom training for the interaction factor, some prefer home study, and many are turning to online learning for the convenience," said Nickerson.

"The program is comprehensive and user-friendly and can be accessed from anywhere at any time. Our goal is to help our clients achieve and maintain compliance in an industry with changing rules, restrictions, and acceptable practices."
