Businesses tap into the shared space - Commercial Sales & Leasing
Real Estate Weekly, March 10, 2004 by Robert Marek
In 2003, the central and northern New Jersey office market experienced an influx of smaller companies looking for office space throughout the region. As we move into the second quarter of 2004, the same holds true today.
A burgeoning population, reasonable rental rates and the commutability to major markets in New York City and Philadelphia have made Somerset, Morris, Warren and Hunterdon Counties a popular business environment for private owners, minimal space users, special project users and remote corporate locations.
In the past, these companies have been restricted to office spaces which don't necessarily fit their needs. That is no longer the case.
To accommodate the growing number of small business owners choosing this region as their corporate destination, Larken Associates has recently-introduced a new, imaginative "shared-space" office concept at two of its popular campus-style business and professional complexes.
By creating a distinctly-corporate environment, the unique Executive Suites buildings now available at Amwell Commons and Branchburg Commons are the perfect solution for small business operators.
Office sizes range from 100 to 300 square-feet. All shared space is furnished with the latest in office furniture and some suites will have private entrances and exits. What's more, small business owners will be able to sign short term leases--even month to month--to give them maximum flexibility and limited liability.
Tenants enjoy perimeter offices with windows, state-of-the-art telephone systems and intercoms, keyless entry systems, access to copy and work stations, conference room, kitchen facilities and high-end vending systems. There will also be access to cable and broad band high speed Internet access.
Throughout this year, we expect to see even more small businesses opt to make central and northern New Jersey their corporate home.
With the opening of Executive Suites at Amwell Commons and Executive Suites at Branchburg Commons, Larken Associates has introduced additional space into the marketplace designed specifically to satisfy their needs and provide a state-of-the-art corporate environment.
