Gruzen Samton is pleased to announce the promotion of 26 standout architects.
With a focus in court design, William Singer, AIA, has been promoted from Senior Associate to Associate Partner.
His responsibilities include schematic designs, design developments, contract document submissions and review and coordination of all documents with sub-consultants, as well as providing support for field representatives during project construction.
Singer's broad knowledge and experience designing, restoring and building courthouses has contributed to the design and construction administration of many of Gruzen Samton s most challenging court projects.
A graduate of Duke University he holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and English, as well as a Master of Architecture from the School of Design at North Carolina State University and a Master of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Singer was also awarded a Senior Fulbright Research Scholarship in Ljubljana, Republic of Slovenia.
Newly promoted Associate Partner, Susan Wright, AIA, specializes in the design and management of multifamily residential projects. With over 18 years of experience, Wright manages a range of architectural, planning and interiors projects, including numerous developments primarily composed of affordable housing. Prior to joining the firm she was a Principal at Larsen Shein Ginsberg Snyder, LLP.
Wright has a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Fulbright Scholar.
Promoted to Senior Associate from associate are Peter Boccia, Dominick DeAngelis, Joseph Giovanniello, Moriah Kosch, David Lem, Cecilia Li, Richard Murphy, Michael Ohlausen, Michael Patraulea, and Richard Weed.
Newly promoted associates are Kasia Atkinson, Nirbhik Bera, Eddie Chu, Chelsea Deming, Christopher LaSala, Evan Mann, Brian McKeown, Peter O'Loghlen, Kelvin Ono, John Pinegar, David Rozzi and Elizabeth Weeks.
David Rozzi has been promoted to Design Director of Interiors, and Associate.
Tyrone Harley, 47, has been promoted from technical director of interiors to Manager and Technical Director of Interiors.
