Glass act on W37th
Real Estate Weekly, March 8, 2006
Adams & Co. Real Estate recently brokered a 10-year, 4,791-square-foot lease at 48 W. 37th St. for Allure Eyewear, LLC, a prominent eyewear manufacturer that produces Oscar de la Renta's signature eyewear collection.
Allure Eyewear manufactures a line of contemporary frames by the same name as well as Oscar de la Renta's O Oscar eyewear collection.
David Levy of Adams & Co. represented the landlord and Jeffrey Buslik of Adams & Co. represented the tenant in the transaction.
Allure Eyewear plans to use the space as a showroom and for general and executive offices. Although terms of the lease were undisclosed, asking rents were $30 per square foot.
"This is a fantastic and centrally located space," said Levy. "The building is in the heart of the transit triangle marked by Penn Station, Grand Central Station and Port Authority. It's an ideal location for a growing fashion company like Allure Eyewear."
