Wells Real Estate Funds has promoted Peter Mitchell to senior vice president, Midwest acquisitions. In this capacity, Mitchell will be responsible for property acquisitions in 16 states, including such major markets as Chicago and Minneapolis. Mitchell joined Wells in 2002 as a vice president. Recent acquisitions in which he has represented Wells include the UnitedHealthcare building in suburban St. Louis, and Bannockburn Lake III, leased to TAP Pharmaceutical Products, in suburban Chicago. A 15-year real estate veteran, Mitchell formerly
worked for firms including JP Morgan Mortgage Capital.
