The top deals in Manhattan over the last two weeks as tracked by CoStar:

1 Golden Days are Here to Stay Goldman Sachs Leases 261K SF at 1 Liberty Plaza

In the largest deal of the year thus far, Goldman Sachs has leased 261,000 square feet at 1 Liberty Plaza. Goldman Sachs will be occupying the 7th through 12th floors, along with a portion of the 13th floor, for the next 15 years. The deal comes less than a month after Goldman Sachs subleased the 33rd and 34th floors, 83,558 square feet, from Odyssey Reinsurance. As a result of this new deal, Goldman Sachs will occupy a total of 344,558 square feet at One Liberty plaza. Goldman Sachs, a broker-dealer specializing in finance, investment, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and research, is a member of the New York, Tokyo, London, Frankfurt and Hong Kong Stock Exchanges. Goldman Sachs is headquartered at 85 Broad St., and has over 40 offices in 23 different cities worldwide. The tenant was represented by Neil Goldmacher of Newmark & Co. Real Estate. The landlord, Brookfield Financial Properties, was represented in-house.
