Groundbreaking begins on credit union space

Gale & Wentworth, L.L.C. recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the commencement of construction of the Mountain View Corporate Center in Bernards Twp., N.J. Affinity Federal Credit Union has selected this facility for its new corporate headquarters. The 126,000 SF, three-story, Class A office building is being built at Mountain View Corporate Center, an 821,000 SF world-class headquarters campus. Affinity Federal Credit Union will occupy 106,000 SF at this building. Gale & Wentworth Construction Services is responsible for building the Affinity Federal Credit Union facility. Completion is expected to be in the first quarter of 2002.

Ed DaCosta, Paul Myers and Patrick McCarthy of CB Richard Ellis, Inc. represented Affinity Federal Credit Union in this transaction.

Rick Genthe and Tim Conklin, Vice Presidents of Leasing, served as Gale & Wentworth's in-house leasing representatives.

"Gale & Wentworth is pleased to welcome our first tenant to Mountain View Corporate Center," stated Mark Yeager, President, Gale & Wentworth. "This important lease signing by such a leading corporation as Affinity Federal Credit Union is an affirmation of the desirability of Mountain View Corporate Center. We would like to extend our thanks to the CB Richard Ellis team for helping to consummate the Affinity Federal Credit Union lease," Yeager concluded.

Affinity Federal Credit Union will utilize this facility as a credit union bank, client service center and for general office space. Additionally, Gale & Wentworth was able to meet the needs of Affinity Federal Credit Union by leasing the company temporary space at 10 Independence Drive in Warren, N.J. until this new facility is completed.
