Appraisal Institute Course

March 11 to Apr. 15 -- The Long Island Chapter of the Appraisal Institute will offer a continuing education course, entitled "Appraisal Procedures," on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The course will review the valuation process and discuss appraisal mathematics, cost approach, and income capitalization approach. The classes will take place at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University, at 720 Northern Boulevard in Brookville, N.Y Tuition: $400 per person. PWC Awards Reception

March 25 - Professional Women In Construction (PWC) will honor the AOL Time Warner Center and Columbus Centre LLC project at its annual Awards Reception-from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at The Yale Club, 50 Vanderbilt Avenue, NYC. Electricity Workshop

March 26 -- New York State Public Service Commission and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority will hold a day-long workshop from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop will discuss electricity issues, reduced energy use, and $mart programs. AREW Anniversary

Apr. 2 -- The Association of Real Estate Women will hold its 25th anniversary gala, starting at 7 p.m. Mary Ann Tighe, of CB Richard Ellis, Faith Hope Consolo, of Garrick-Aug Worldwide, and Barbara Corcoran, of the Corcoran Group, will be among those to receive awards at the event.
