Real Estate Weekly, March 17, 2004
Sterling Glen of Rye Brook, a new distinctive independent senior living residence in Rye Brook, New York, welcomed the first residents on March 15.
Located on King Street, the unique residence offers older adults a superb lifestyle environment near family, friends, culture and community.
The residence is situated adjacent to BelleFair, an established multigenerational neighborhood of families and working professionals. Sterling Glen of Rye Brook features 166 one- and two-bedroom rental apartments.
"Great care has been taken to ensure that the workmanship and installations within the apartments meet or exceed each new resident's lifestyle needs and expectations," explained Michael Daly, president and chief executive officer of Sterling Glen, the owner and developer.
Although landscaping of the five-acre property will be finalized as warmer weather approaches, an outdoor garden offering alfresco dining near the residence's fountain and a walking path featuring a variety of plantings, coy pond and waterfall are in place.
With the arrival of spring, outdoor exercise stations and a putting green will be added to the building's picturesque surroundings.
