GMH Communities Trust announced that Rebecca Mikolaj-Shirley has been appointed as regional vice president of its student housing division. In her new position, Shirley will be responsible for the supervision of 12 assets in Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Tennessee.
Prior to joining GMH Communities, Shirely served as vice president of the Dinerstein Companies.
Shirley holds a B.A. in music from Sam Houston State University, an M.A. in Russian and East European studies from the University of Kansas and an M.B.A. in management information systems from American University.
