AREW Anniversary
Apr. 2 -- The Association of Real Estate Women will hold its 25th anniversary gala, starting at 7 p.m. Mary Ann Tighe, of CB Richard Ellis, Faith Hope Consolo, of Garrick-Aug Worldwide, and Barbara Corcoran, of the Corcoran Group, will be among those to receive awards at the event. IREM Course
April 2 & 3 -- The Greater New York Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) is offering a course titled Understanding Financial Calculations & Strategies for Real Estate Managers from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Renwick Gardens, 332 East 29th St. The cost is $440 for IREM members; $555 for non-members. This course will be taught by Len Frenkil, CPM, Vice President of Education at the Institute of Real Estate Management. A calculator is required. IREM recommends the Hewlett-Packard 10BII. Bronx Manhattan North Realtors Banquet

NRC Lunch
April 7 -- Dan Doctoroff, Deputy Mayor, will be the guest speaker at a National Realty Club luncheon at noon at the Williams Club, 24 East 39th St. The cost is $40 for members and $65 for nonmembers. April 10 -- The Real Estate New Leadership Cabinet of State of Israel Bonds will honor Roy L. Appel, Jonathan R. Serko, and Simon Ziff at its annual tribute luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the Grand Hyatt New York. Appel, senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis, and Serko, an executive director of Cushman & Wakefield, are immediate past chairmen of the Cabinet. Ziff is president of The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group. Chairmen are Richard J. Brickell of Joseph P. Day Realty and Brian S. Waterman of Newmark & Co. Real Estate. Admission is $140 per person.
