Tudor tempted, too … - Tudor Investment Corporation, Taconic Investment Partners, contracts - Brief Article

Real Estate Weekly, March 24, 2004

Tudor Investment Corporation has signed a five-year lease for 6,744 s/f at 450 Park Avenue, according to Andrew Nick, principal and director of asset management for Taconic Investment Partners, the building's co-owner.

"450 Park Avenue continues to attract top financial institutions, banks, and investors," says Mr. Nick. "The building has become a mecca for such boutique financial firms looking for impeccable service and space in one of the most beautifully renovated properties."

Tudor Investment, one of the country's largest global fund management companies, will move into its custom built offices in March.

"Our pre-built and custom built spaces are top-quality with the highest finishes, including cherry wood and glass partitions. Today's tenant is looking for high-end Class-A space that is ready for immediate or near-term occupancy, which is what 450 Park provides," Mr. Nick adds.

John Wheeler of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Tudor. CB Richard Ellis, the building's exclusive leasing agent, and Taconic Management Company LLC, the property manager, negotiated the deal on behalf of building ownership.
