Weight Watchers take 30,000 s/f at Moinian's 60 Madison Avenue

Real Estate Weekly, March 21, 2007

The Moinian Group signed a 30,160 s/f lease with Weight Watchers, a leading weight loss corporation, at 60 Madison Avenue.

Daniel Gohari, vice president & Director of Commercial Assets, made the announcement.

Paul Ippolito and Michael Morris of Newmark Knight Frank represented Weight Watchers in the transaction; Andrew Udis and Michael Dreizen, also of Newmark Knight Frank, negotiated on behalf of Moinian Group.

"Weight Watchers and other first-class firms demand the flexible floor plans, advanced telecommunication capabilities and Flatiron District location this property provides," Gohari stated.

"As commercial office space grows harder to find in Manhattan's top business addresses, 60 Madison Avenue offers 13 stories of Class-A office space for firms of all sizes."

Corporate tenants of 60 Madison Avenue include New York State Democratic Committee, Friends of Schumer, Venture Communications, Primeshares and the Supreme Court of New York. Retail tenants at street level include Hafele and Duane Reade.
