Workspeed reaches Nexus level in deal

Real Estate Weekly, March 21, 2007

Workspeed, a leading provider of web-based and wireless maintenance applications, has partnered with Nexus Systems, a leading provider of AP automation software, to offer an integrated payables system powered by Nexus under the brand Workspeed Payables.

Workspeed and Workspeed Payables will be offered both separately and in a combined solution, offering the real estate industry's first fully integrated work order and AP automation package.

Maintenance technicians will be able to manage work orders in their Workspeed application that seamlessly flow into purchase orders in Workspeed Payables for routing and approval. This information will then transfer to the invoices when they are received and subsequently into the property manager's general ledger software for payment. Throughout the entire process, this information flows electronically and never has to be re-entered.

"Through our groundbreaking new partnership with Nexus Systems, Workspeed will offer the real estate industry a fully automated work order and AP solution that will dramatically reduce the amount of time and labor property managers spend processing work orders," said Derrick Chen, CEO of Workspeed.

"As more and more companies look towards automation as a business driver to improve their bottom line, it is logical that they start off with individual applications to improve different areas of their companies. Work order/maintenance applications such as Workspeed and AP automation applications like PayablesNexus add great value in this effort. However, the next logical step is to have these applications working seamlessly together. In this partnership, Workspeed and Nexus are creating the first fully integrated work order and AP automation solution that ensures no data ever needs to be re-entered all the way from the initiation of the work order on site through the payment resolution with the vendor. This is truly a revolutionary step in the complete automation of property management operations," stated Tom Coolidge, CEO of Nexus Systems Inc.
