Weichert Commercial joins a national network of real estate firms
Real Estate Weekly, March 30, 2005
Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. president John G. Udell announced that WCB has joined the CORE Network, a national organization of commercial real estate firms.
By joining the CORE Network, WCB has become part of a 70-member network of commercial real estate companies that provides comprehensive real estate solutions to its clients on a national and international basis. The services offered through the members of the CORE Network include brokerage, strategic planning, tenant representation, acquisition, investment advisory, construction management, development, finance and investment banking and portfolio management.
"Joining the CORE Network is part of our ongoing commitment to provide our clients and customers with the highest level of service available," said David A. Simon, executive vice president and managing director of Weichert Commercial Brokerage.
"Establishing a national affiliation was a primary focus for us. This affiliation will allow us to draw from the experience, resources and best practices of many of the country's top privately held commercial real estate firms and continue to offer the best platform to our sales force.
"This was a very deliberate decision and we are pleased with our choice."
In 2004, the CORE Network completed commercial real estate transactions with an aggregate value of more than $20 billion dollars, making it the sixth highest grossing brokerage firm/network in the country, according to a survey conducted by National Real Estate Investor magazine.
