GKV embarks on Greenwich project

Gerner, Kroniek + Valcarcel, Architects, PC (GKV Architects), an award-winning New York City firm, has begun construction on the offices of CitationShares, a division of Cessna Aircraft Company specializing in fractional jet ownership and jet card membership. Located at 5 American Lane, Greenwich, Conn., this is the second project GKV has worked on for CitationShares in Connecticut.

The project focus is expansion of existing office space into newly leased space, providing additional offlees and training rooms at CitationShares' corporate headquarters. The expansion results in additional offices, open plan work spaces and flexible training rooms. Prior to the suggested changes, the company was quickly outgrowing its workspace and needed a solution. As a result, the enlarged space will allow CitationShares to increase productivity by providing ample and organized work spaces and better functioning training areas with larger capacities.

GKV's architectural services on the project include space evaluation, programming and full architectural services from design through construction administration. The new offices and training rooms comprise 10,000 s/f. Construction is scheduled for completion in May of 2008.
