Friedman Alper Green merges with Stephen I. Soble, LLP

Real Estate Weekly, March 24, 1999

Keeping pace with its overall growth strategy, New York's accounting and consulting firm Friedman Alpren & Green LLP announced recently that it was merging its practice with that of Stephen I Soble, LLP. The announcement was made by Friedman's managing partner, Bruce Madnick.

"Friedman continually looks for strategic mergers and acquisitions," Madnick said. "The expertise of Stephen Sobel's partners in apparel, textile and Asian-American business was an excellent complement to our existing practice area and made this an attractive opportunity."

"Joining forces with Friedman gives us the resources and support to grow our existing business and bring us to the next level," said Stephen Soble, former managing partner at Stephen Sobel LLP.

The merger will add three partners to Friedman's, resulting in an organization numbering more than 120 professionals. Soble will act as a consultant at Friedman Alpren & Green LLP.
