Radio Shack coming to Flatiron

The Lansco Corporation announced today that it has arranged a new lease for 2,500 SF of ground-floor retail space as well as 1,200 SF of lower level space at 36 East 23rd St., where Radio Shack plans to open a new store in the Spring. Radio Shack signed a 10-year agreement for the store located in the heart of the Flatiron District between Broadway and Madison Avenue. The space, which is currently vacant, was formerly occupied by a food operation.

Asking retail rents in the Flatiron District range from $100 to $275 per square foot.
