Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP announced E. Gail Suchman and Andrew E. Skroback have joined Stroock's Environmental Law Practice as special counsel. Suchman joins from Gilberti Stinziano Heintz and Smith, P.C., where she served as the managing attorney for its New York City office. She has over 25 years experience in environmental and energy law and policy.
She also teaches at Columbia Law School, Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs, and is senior legal advisor to the Urban Design Lab for Sustainable Development at Columbia's Earth Institute. Skroback joins from Hunton & Williams, where he was a senior environmental associate focusing on complex litigation and transactional and business counseling. His practice includes all aspects of environmental litigation, including prosecution and defense of complex environmental actions, site investigation and remediation, negotiations with regulatory agencies, joint defense efforts among private parties, and litigation in federal and state courts.
