Kennedy Funding, a leading national direct private commercial lender, has named Kevin S. Clark (photo) director of Marketing. A well-known figure in the commercial mortgage lending industry, Clark brings extensive expertise to his new position at Kennedy Funding.

"We're pleased to have Kevin rejoin our company and assume the key role of marketing director," said Jeffrey Wolfer, president of Kennedy Funding. "Kevin's expertise and reputation in the industry will be key factors in spreading the word about our capabilities in serving the needs of a diverse range of commercial borrowers."

Clark, who has more than 15 years of experience in the lending industry and has been involved in more than a quarter of a billion dollars in "hard money" commercial mortgage loans, previously served as an executive officer with Kennedy Funding for a number of years and left briefly to work for a competitor. "I returned to Kennedy to be able to work with a leader in the industry," said Clark. "Kennedy is in the forefront of commercial lending, and offers me the opportunity to participate in some of the industry's most innovative lending programs. There is tremendous growth potential here for developing programs to effectively meet the expanding needs of a broad range of commercial borrowers, not only domestically, but also internationally."

A New York City native, Clark attended Western New England College in Springfield, Mass., where be earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
