IA joins mentoring program

Firm to work with student group
Joining professionals from, several design disciplines, international interior architecture firm IA will work with mentoring group ACE -- the acronym for Architecture, Construction & Engineering--in providing career guidance and assistance with scholarship opportunities to New York City high school students, announces. Eric. Regh, managing principal of IA's New York office.
The ACE program, which currently sponsors nine groups citywide, enlists professionals from design and design-related firms to meet with students twice a month for a year. The program is developed to teach. interested students about the design field through specific projects, which are coordinated in much the same way as professional projects IA's group, headed by designer Scott Harrison, will include approximately 25 students.
"The experience is meant to be 'hands-on' and fun," points out Mr. Harrison. "In addition to meeting in classroom settings, IA's program will include tours of design facilities, construction sites and exhibitions."
Upon completion of the mentoring program, ACE hosts an annual meeting in which all groups present their individual projects.
IA is a full-service architectural design firm that provides clients with three distinct disciplines: workplace design; workplace management; and workplace strategies.
The company employs 375 professionals worldwide, including architects, designers, project managers and web-site designers.
