Lilker Associates Consulting Engineers P.C., a New York City-based mechanical and electrical engineering firm announced the recent establishment of Technology Solutions Group (TSG), a wholly-owned division specializing in the design, engineering and project management of information technology cabling infrastructure, audio/visual systems and security systems.
Morais C. Miranda, RCDD, is director of TSG. Miranda has over 10 years of experience directing technology infrastructure projects for large-scale new construction and renovation projects. He has been responsible for projects for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, AXA Financial, JP MorganChase, The New York Times, Young & Rubicam, and IBM. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.
"TSG was established to meet the increasing demands of the marketplace for technology infrastructure services. We believe the synergy created from the combination of traditional MEP services and TSG's technology infrastructure expertise provides clients with an enhanced level of professional services as well," says Miranda. TSG is currently completing major projects for Reed Elsevier/Cahners, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Credit Suisse Asset Management, ABN AMRO, Philip Morris, Newsday, Fiduciary Trust Company International, Fordham University and iVillage.
