Real estate executives to be honored Apr. 25
Real Estate Weekly, April 17, 2002
Six real estate executives -- Jerry Handler, Scott Handler, Stanley Katz, Burton P. Resnick, Philip Rosen, and Zygfryd B. Wolloch -- will be honored at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine men's division 40th Anniversary celebration on April 25.
The event will also mark the launching of the division's new $5 million fundraising campaign to establish a floor in cell transplantation and human genomics in the College's Michael F. Price Center for Genetic and Translational Medicine.
All of the six real estate executives honored at one time served as chairman of the men division. Resnick also serves as chairman emeritus of the Einstein board of overseers, Rosen is vice chairman of the Board, and Handler is a board member.
"We are very grateful for the outstanding creative leadership of our past chairmen," said Adam Gottbetter, chairman of the event.
Since 1961, the division members have raised almost $30 million to benefit medical education and biomedical research projects at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Its new project -- the floor in cell transplantation and human genomics -- will help to expand the research facilities at the College.
