Bridal house moves to 14 East 60th Street

Real Estate Weekly, April 17, 2002

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo and Joseph Aquino, along with retail consultant, Robert Scali, of Garrick-Aug Worldwide, Ltd., have arranged the leasing for Reem Acra of a premier location, just off Fifth Avenue. This will be the first retail Store for Acra, the brilliant designer and president of her own international evening and bridal fashion house.

The 15-year lease is for approximately for 3,300-SF, ground level, at 14 East 60th St. in what was formerly the Wally Findlay Gallery, in the same building as Nicole Fabri."

"This is a wonderful location for Reem," states Aquino, managing director, "around the corner from Bergdorf, across from Barneys.

It is in the heart of an area known all over the world as the home of superlative taste and elegance as is reflected in the surrounding stores, shops and the households of those who live there. The Pierre Hotel is nearby, as is the Plaza, the Metropolitan Club, and the Harmony Club -- all perfect settings for a Reem Acra creation whether it's one of her extraordinary evening ensembles or exquisite bridal gowns."

The Garrick-Aug team exclusively represented the tenant.
