IREM Lunch

April 16 -- The Greater New York Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) will hold their' monthly luncheon featuring special guest speaker Anthony Malkin, president of W&M Properties, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the New York Helmsley Hotel, 212 East 42nd Street. Hispanics in Real Estate Networking Reception

April 17 -- The Hispanics in Real Estate and Construction New York Chapter will hold a networking event from 6 to 9 p.m. at Cort Furniture Rental, 711 Third Ave. (between 44th and 45th Streets.) NRC Panel

April 22 -- The National Realty Club will be hosting a panel discussion on opportunistic lending at noon at the Williams Club, 24 East 39th St. The panelists. will be Michael Boxer, partner, Ramius Capital Group LLC; Richard Katzenstein, managing director, MONY Realty Capital and Andy Kurtz, co-managing member, Spectrum Origination LLC. Ethics Course

April 22 to 23 -- The Bronx Manhattan North. Association of Relators will hold a continuing education course, entitled "Equal and Ethical Service for Today's Consumer," from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Roseann Masterson will serve as the instructor for the course. April 25 to 27 -- The Real Estate Institute of New York University will offer a 22.5-hour continuing education course, entitled "Real Estate Principles Updated," from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The course will discuss such topics as fair housing, environmental disclosure, and recent amendments to Article 12A.
