Insignia bonds with Buschman

Real Estate Weekly, May 2, 2001

Insignia/ESG's New Jersey office and Buschman Partners announced that they have formed a strategic alliance which will increase Insignia/ESG's presence in Princeton and allow Buschman Partners to more effectively service clients throughout the state and the U.S.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two firms will cooperate with each other to provide service to clients while remaining separate legal entities. This alliance will coordinate sales efforts to increase market share and revenues through the synergies within the combined firms.

"The alliance between Insignia/ESG and Buschman Partners strengthens our presence in Princeton, which is one of New Jersey's largest real estate markets and complements Insignia/ESG's leadership statewide," said Patrick Murphy, executive director and head of N.J. operations for Insignia/ESG. "Both firms share the same philosophy of providing superior service, taking a strategic and consultative approach towards brokerage services, and in hiring the best talent."

While Buschman's business and revenues have increased over the past several years, the firm realized that by partnering with a worldwide firm of Insignia/ESG's stature, it could expand its business statewide, nationally and ultimately internationally to further increase revenues.

In June 2001, Insignia/ESG will open its Central New Jersey office in Two Tower Center in East Brunswick, N.J. This office will be utilized by Insignia/ESG's Central New Jersey office and industrial brokerage staff as well as by Buschman Partners. Buschman Partner's Princeton office will remain the company's main operating office and also be utilized by Insignia/ESG brokerage staff. John Buschman will continue to manage Buschman Partner's Princeton office and Patrick Murphy will oversee Insignia/ESG's new Central New Jersey office in addition to its Saddle Brook operations in Northern New Jersey.
