In an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $1,360,000 the property at 116 E. 38th St. has been sold, according to a report from Robert A. Knakal, chairman of Massey Knakal Realty Services.

The building, a 14-foot wide, four-story residential townhouse, is located on the south side of 38th St. between Park and Lexington Avenues on one of Murray Hill's most pristine tree-lined residential blocks. The property contained a total of 3,220 sf and was in good condition, with much of its original detail intact, along with an attractively landscaped rear garden. The property was delivered vacant and was purchased by The Permanent Mission of Mauritania to the United Nations. The sale price equates to approximately $420 per sf.
