Parsons Brinckerhoff announced that George Munfakh has been appointed as manager of its geotechnical and tunneling services.
Munfakh has more than 30 years of experience in engineering. His list of clients includes the Federal Highway Administration and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.
Munfakh holds a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Aleppo and an M.S. and Ph.D. in civil engineering from Louisiana State University. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineering, the Transportation Research Board, and the Society of American Military Engineers.
